Worship

ABOUT WORSHIP

Our worship service begins at 10:30 am on Sunday morning and generally lasts one hour. Feel free to dress casually or dressy. That's what we do. You'll see a variety of styles -  from shorts to suits, and flip flops to heels.

JAM KIDS

All children are always welcome in our service. Should you wish to use it, we offer a nursery/WeeJAM for children up to age 3, which is located right behind the sanctuary.  Children ages 4-12 can attend JAM during the worship service. From the sanctuary, they will move to the education building for a time of bible stories and activities. The first Sunday of the month, when communion is served, JAM is not offered. WeeJam/nursery is always available.

COMMUNION

We generally serve communion on the first Sunday of the month. The United Methodist Church offers an open table for communion. This means that EVERYONE is WELCOME to partake. As you go to the front of the church, you will be given a bit of bread. You will then use that bread to dip in the chalice of grape juice.  A gluten free option is available.

SMALL GROUPS

There are small group and Sunday School activities available beginning at 9:30 am on Sunday morning. Our ministries tab will have more information about ways to connect other than joining in worship.

MUSIC

We sing a joyful blend of contemporary praise songs and traditional hymns. Our talented praise team leads music on Sundays. You'll hear piano, guitar and organ accompaniment. Words to songs and other visuals are projected onto screens, but we still have hymnals and bibles in our pews.

SERMONS

Pastor Tom's sermons are intended to challenge you and comfort you. They incorporate the timeless truths of the Bible with the contemporary issues we face. They are for people who have gone to church all their lives, for people who are back after being away from church for a while, and for people who have never gone to church. Tom welcomes questions and dialogue, so feel free to contact him if you would like to have a conversation.
