Ash Wednesday Time of Reflection
Join us on Ash Wednesday as we mark the beginning of the season of Lent, preparing for the celebration of Easter. During this time the sanctuary will be open for a time of reflection. Pastor Tom will provide the imposition of ashes (a tradition that dates back to the 10th century) where he will lightly rub the sign of the cross with ashes onto your forehead. Ashes symbolize our understanding of the need for repentance in our lives.

During this season of Lent, Sedgefield Church and Woodlawn Community Church are partnering to provide Wednesday Lenten Devotionals. We encourage you to bring your own lunch to this event. Drinks and dessert will be provided by the host church. The Pastor will do a brief devotion. The schedule is as follows: March 12, March 26 and April 9: Sedgefield United Methodist Church March 19 and April 2: Woodlawn Community Fellowship
