DESCRIPTION:Join us on Ash Wednesday as we mark the beginning of the season of Lent\, preparing for the celebration of Easter. During the service\, Pastor Jim will provide the imposition of ashes (a tradition that dates back to the 10th century) where he will lightly rub the sign of the cross with ashes onto your forehead. Ashes symbolize our understanding of the need for repentance in our lives. Kids are welcome in the service\, and our weeJAM Center will be open for younger children and babies.
