DESCRIPTION:Join us on Ash Wednesday as we mark the beginning of the season of Lent\, preparing for the celebration of Easter. In lieu of a formal service\, the sanctuary will be open from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. for a time of personal reflection and prayer. Suggested prayers will be available to guide you during your time in the sanctuary.  The time you spend in reflection will be up to each individual. Pastor Jim will be on hand for the imposition of ashes where he will lightly rub the sign of the cross with ashes onto your forehead. Ashes symbolize our understanding of the need for repentance in our lives.
