DESCRIPTION:Join us on Ash Wednesday as we mark the beginning of the season of Lent\, preparing for the celebration of Easter. This will be a combined service with Woodlawn Community Fellowship Church. During this time\, we will have the imposition of ashes (a tradition that dates back to the 10th century) where the pastor will lightly rub the sign of the cross with ashes onto your forehead. Ashes symbolize our understanding of the need for repentance in our lives.
