DESCRIPTION:Join us on Ash Wednesday as we mark the beginning of the season of Lent\, preparing for the celebration of Easter. During this time the sanctuary will be open for a time of reflection. Pastor Tom will provide the imposition of ashes (a tradition that dates back to the 10th century) where he will lightly rub the sign of the cross with ashes onto your forehead. Ashes symbolize our understanding of the need for repentance in our lives.
